Have you seen the new rage? Have you purchased the new Tag Topper Punch yet? This is another one of Stampin’ Up!’s wonderful “tools” that is versatile in that it serves more than one purpose. I used the Tag Topper Punch on the card closure:

All you have to do is untie the ribbon to peek inside of your card:

What a clever way to create a card huh? And here’s how:
Step 1:
Cut a piece of cardstock 5 1/2″ x 8 3/8″. Score at 3 1/4″ and 7 1/2″:

Step 2:
Using a ruler, measure 1″ on the left-hand side of your cardstock as shown with a pencil. Flip the card base completely over and add the same measurement on the new left-hand side:

Step 3:
Using the Scallop Tag Topper Punch, slide the card base into the punch. You will have to grab the cardstock with both hands and push hard to get it inside the punch. Line up the pencil tick mark with the very edge of your punch as shown below:

Step 4:
Press and punch. Pull the cardstock out and this is what it should look like:

Step 5:
Repeat for the opposite side to look like this:

Step 6:
Using your Paper Trimmer, cut off all (4) tabs:

Step 7:
Once the tabs are all cut off, this is what your card base should look like. Using your Bone Folder, press on all score lines to make them crisp:

Decorate your card as desired and tie a ribbon to join the card closed:

Love the cork accents over that piece of DSP! Totally brings it to life. That's the only print out of the pack that I didn't connect with–until now.
