Butterfly Magnets

This is my submission for the Weekly Wednesday 3D Challenge. I’ve wanted to create some magnets for my refrigerator for quite some time now and this challenge pushed me to get some made. My new kitchen is mostly yellow and white with some touches of black.

I made these using my BIGSHOT. I am one of those “hoarders” that keeps all of my leftover cardstock pieces. I have a small storage unit on my counter that has three drawers and I keep my leftover pieces in the drawers by colors. Do you know how often you only need just a weiner piece to complete a project?Here is my submission to the challenge:
I used the “Beautiful Butterflies” Die and the “Beautiful Wings” Embosslit Die found in the new Occasions Mini Catalog. I sponged all the edges with my “Sponge Daubers” dipped in “Basic Black” ink. Attach the layers with brads and add magnets to the back. It took me about 10 minutes to finish these and they look great on my refrigerator!
