Sassy Stampers Club July Projects!

July 13, 2020 3 Comments

With COVID-10 hanging on, we are still social distancing and I am still not able to host in-home classes. I have a group of ladies who meet with me once a month from the Sassy Stampers Club and I miss them so much! We still meet monthly via Zoom though. I mail them card kits a few weeks before we meet and I set up a Host Code for them to use with their Online Orders. It’s working out well but it’s still not like our monthly gatherings were. How have you had to adapt stamping with your customers or friends & family?
For both projects this month, I decided to do a “Christmas In July” theme.
I love the little gnome on the front of this multi-layered card:
And the Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder looks great on the
Whisper White Cardstock layer. Do you have this embossing folder yet?
As a demonstrator, I am not allowed to send stamped images
out in the mail so I have to get creative with punches and dies.
For the Gnome, I used the following:
Pine Tree Punch for hat
Vases Builder Punch for nose
Perennial Flower Punch for feet
Die from the Sunflower Dies for beard
My 2nd project with the group was using the Sunflowers Dies and turning the flower into a poinsettia for a darling Christmas card. I love when we can use products in different ways:
Once we all completed the card, I told them I would demonstrate a 3rd project while they socialized on Zoom. I made the coordinating box using the Mini Paper Pumpkin Boxes. I used the same layers and elements on the box to resemble the card:
Doesn’t the flower look striking in Cherry Cobbler and Real Red Cardstocks?
I love that I turned this flower into a poinsettia. Those Red Rhinestone
Jewels are perfect for the center as we used them to create a cluster:
Stampin’ Up! products used on both projects:
Will you be placing an order today? If so, please use the monthly hostess code when prompted at checkout to earn free products from me. If your order is $150 of more, no need to add the code so you can earn your own hostess rewards! Thank you so much for supporting a small business owner!

Fun, fun, and more fun! Gotta try this gnome too. I loved the one I made for St. Patrick's Day. I love the way you used the brick and mortar embossing folder and the DSP with it for all the projects. Love this blog post.

A few of us here are trying to figure out how to do a Christmas Card Stamp Camp virtually or semi virtually. I've had a few ideas floating around. Part of the appeal of the annual stamp camp is participants getting to use products you don't own. Each demo uses a different current stamp set. There was talk of appointment times to pick up your kit and stamp and/or die cut images as needed. We could provide pictures or directions. It's just not the same though!

WOW…love your gnome…or should I say your 'punchy' gnome?…LOL! Thanks for instructions on making him.
