It was workshop time a few weeks ago and Roberta was our hostess. With the debut of the Holiday Catalog we had a great workshop. These three cards were all part of the workshop. All Stampin’ Up! stamp sets are from the new Holiday catalog. Let’s have a closer look:
I stamped one ornament and cut it out and used colored cardstock for the 2nd ornament. I wanted to show how you can stamp or not stamp and still use the thinlits either way.
Our 2nd card of the night was a card that was shown and demonstrated at convention this year. I fell in love with all the different techniques that were used so I decided to replicate it. Thanks Brandy Cox for the great idea!
The card uses a little bit of Gold Glitter, a little bit of designer paper, a little bit of Gold Glimmer Paper, embossed leaves, a partial Spider Web Doily that was trimmed and then sponged with ink. Just a little bit of this and that to create a masterpiece. The stamp set used is called “Lighthearted Leaves” and coordinates with the “Leaflets Framelits Dies” from the Annual Catalog. So you now how 2 stamp sets that coordinate with these framelits.
