We had a workshop at Scraps a few weeks ago and Roberta was the hostess. Funny thing is that I was quite sick but managed to get through it. I didn’t want to cancel at the last minute. I went home and crashed after the workshop….for 4 days. I was so sick!
Here is the first card I demo’d (or maybe it was the 2nd, I do not even remember!):

I cut a strip of Whisper White Cardstock and sponged Daffodil Ink all over it, making some areas darker than others. I then stamped the leaf image using Old Olive Ink from the Gently Falling Stamp Set, which is a two-step stamp set:

Once the ink was dry, I stamped the 2nd part of the stamp image, the outline, using Craft White Ink, sprinkled White Embossing Powder and set with my Heat Tool. Here is a listing of the supplies I used:
- Cardstock: Whisper White, Pacific Point
- Inks: Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Craft White, Pacific Point
- Tools: Heat Tool, White Embossing Powder, Scallop Trim Border Punch
- Stamps: Gently Falling, Thoughts & Prayers
Card #2 (might have been card #1):

The tie-dye technique…if you have signed up for my Techniques IV Class which starts next week, we will be completing one of these cards! I showed the girls how to do this technique and they were all “ooohing and awwing” over it! They can’t wait to try it themselves in class. I’ll have a tutorial later this month for Tuesday Tips or Techniques, keep checking back for it!

Card Supplies:
- Cardstock: Water Color Paper, Razzleberry Ripple
- Inks: Rasberry Ripple, Tangerine Tango, Pumpkin Pie
- Tools: Wide Oval Punch, Elegant Butterfly Punch, Bitty Butterfly Punch, Ribbon Trim Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Sponge Daubers, Aqua Painter, Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Accessories: Rhinestone Jewels, Delicate Details Lace Tape
Card #3:

All the girls were able to complete this card and take it home with them. How elegant is this huh? I just love the Dress-Up Framelits Dies for a nice feminine card:

Card Supplies:
- Cardstock: Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant, Very Vanilla
- DSP: First Edition
- Inks: StazOn Jet Black, Elegant Eggplant, Certainly Celery & Wisteria Wonder Stampin’ Write Markers
- Tools: Big Shot Machine, Hexagon Textured Impressions Folder, Ovals Framelits Dies, Modern Label Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Sponge Daubers, Dress Up Framelits Dies
- Accessories: Tea Lace Paper Doilies, 5/8″ Flower Trim
And finally this was the door prize gift:

The little journal book is from the “Paper Pumpkin Try It Kit”. The kit comes with 2 journals and once I had both of my journals completed, I had some self-adhesive butterflies left over and decided to use them to create a matching card:

Card Supplies:
- Cardstock: Island Indigo, Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight
- Inks: Daffodil Delgiht
- Stamps: Creative Elements, Tea Shoppe
- Tools: Bitty Butterfly Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, Big Shot Machine, Tasteful Trim Die, Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Accessories: Baker’s Twine, Tea Lace Paper Doily

Sorry you were sick! It seems this spring has been playing havoc with a lot of peoples' health. Hope you're feeling better now.
Must tell you how wonderful it is to see your cards this morning. We are in a 10 day streak of constant rain and no sun. It's depressing. The wonderful, cheery colors of your cards and the fun techniques are a great reprieve.
I am so glad I could cheer you up today Chellie. We have a beautiful sunny day here but have a SNOW storm coming tonight. I don't think spring will ever get there. Have a good weekend!
I hope you are feeling better now. Hugs! Love these cards; that first one is just gorgeous! I'm pinning for later inspiration. 🙂
Thanks Rita, I am finally feeling better after 4 weeks. I had an allergic reaction to the anti-biotics though this week, as I'm allergic the penicillin! Thanks for your comment!
Love those 2 bright and cheerful cards. Will definitely bookmark this page; they would be great for a class. TFS. So glad to hear you're feeling better. Sounds like you need a good dose of spring to help the recuperation.
