Welcome to a Saturday Blog Hop at Create with Connie & Mary. We have some great news today! We’ve added two more people to our weekly Blog Hop. Welcome to Cindy Elam and Brenda Nelson. More projects for you to view each week!
Our theme this week is favorite retiring stamp set. The only part of the Best Catch stamp set you are going to see on my card is the sentiment. I love this stamp set and have used this sentiment so much since it’s debut that I’ll be sad it’s retiring. I’m going to miss the sentiment and the whole stamp set!

I actually created these two projects for a live Facebook Class and once I was finished with both projects, I decided the class would be way too long so opted to use it for our blog hop this week instead. Another one of my most used and favorite retiring products is the 1/2″ Circle Punch. I’m am going to miss this punch A LOT! You can see that I used it to cut all of those circles on both projects.

Each circle is glued in place with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals for height. That’s a lot of circles. I finished off both projects by using the Stitched Stars Dies which are not retiring, yippee! and then added the sentiment on top for each star:

Thanks so much for stopping by today. These two projects are too difficult to explain step-by-step but you can use my pattern below for the lid and the box and then add your layers. You’ll need to cut (2) for the box bottom. Once you glue the sides together for each box bottom piece using the tab, you can glue the two separate pieces together to form the whole box:

When you decide how you want to arrange your lego pieces, here are the sizes I used:
- Small Lego Square (4 circles): 1-1/4″ x 1-1/4
- Medium Lego Square (8 circles): 1-1/4″ x 2-1/2″
- Large Lego Square (12 circles): 1-1/4″ x 3-3/4″
- Whisper White Layers on the box sides: 4″ x 1-1/2″
- Whisper White Layer for box top: 4″ x 4″
- Whisper White Layer on the card: 5-1/4″ x 4″
