I love stamp sets that coordinate with Stampin’ Up!’s punches. What a quick way to cut out a stamped image. I almost feel like I’m cheating!
The card below used the “Punches Posies” stamp set. This is a hostess set that you can earn for free! The stamp set is available in both the clear mount and the wood mount. Every single stamp in this set coordinates with a punch.
The first step to this card is to use “Concord Crush” for the background layer. I then added a second layer of “Pumpkin Pie” with one edge punched with the “Scallop Edge Border Punch”. I then added a small strip of “Certainly Celery” cardstock towards the bottom of the “Pumpkin Pie” layer.
I used my “Big Shot” and cut out a “Scallop Circle” die shape and ran it through the “Big Shot” a second time with the “Square Lattice Impressions Folder”.
The remainder of the card utilizes punches…..the “5-Petal Punch” for the flowers and the leaves, the “Fancy Flower Punch”, and finally for the sentiment the “Word Window Punch”. The little bugs at the top of the card are actually the body for the butterfly in the stamp set but I thought they looked so cute by themselves. Add a few brads and your card is complete!
