How about a version of a flat pinwheel today? This card is created totally with punches! Even though the card looks quite detailed………it’s really not!

To make your pinwheel, cut 2 squares measuring 2 5/8″ x 2 5/8″. I used Crumb Cake Cardstock on mine. Layer them turning one square diagonally to the other square and glue them in place:

Using your 1 1/4″ Square Punch, punch 8 squares. You can use Designer Series Paper and either use the same design for your squares or alternate with 2 designs as I’ve done with my pinwheel. Glue the squares one at a time and overlap them to create the pinwheel effect. The flower in the center was created with the Blossoms Punch and Crumb Cake Cardstock. I embossed all the petals with the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder before I glued them in place. For the center of the flower I used an Itty Bitty Button layered over the same shape cut with the Punch Pack in Early Espresso Cardstock.

For the bottom of my card, I punched a strip using the Lace Ribbon Border Punch in Early Espresso Cardstock. Layer a piece of DSP punched with the Large Oval Punch. The little Mini Library Clip holds two tags punched with the Jewelry Tag Punch stamped with the Tiny Tags Stamp Set!

Some of you have been anxiously awaiting photo’s of our new walkway that my son Greg & his friend Seth created. It is a beautiful work of art! And for those 2 days, we endured 90 degree heat while accomplishing this wonderful feat……

Isn’t it wonderful! We still have splotches of grass that need to be sowed and for some of our plants to take off!
Have a great day!
