I saw a few of these Punch Art Love Bug’s on Pinterest and thought they were adorable. I added a few things of my own!
First I started out by cutting two of the largest shape from the “Starburst Framelits Dies”. I took one and score it about 3/4″ from the top and folded on the score line. I then glued it to the 2nd one and voila, a card base:
I then layered two more starburst shapes to the front using Basic Black and Coastal Cabana Cardstocks. Then came the Punch Art:
(2) using Real Red and the Wide Oval Punch (car body and top)
(1) using the Large Oval Punch (windshield)
(1) using the Word Window Punch and Silver Foil (bumper)
(2) using the Word Window Punch and Basic Black Cardstock (tires)
(2) using the 1/2″ Circle Punch and Silver Foil (headlights)
(2) using the circle from the Punch Pack and Whisper White Cardstock (headlights
I used my Paper Piercer and the template for the Wide Oval Punch shape and added a row of holes and inserted a Mini Brad in the center of my holes. The card is glued to the front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and look how it opens up:
- Cardstock: Real Red, Coastal Cabana, Basic Black, Whisper White
- Inks: Jet Black StazOn
- Tools: Starburst Framelits Dies, Wide Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, Word Window Punch, 1/2″ Circle Punch, Punch Pack, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper Piercer & Template
- Stamps: Starburst Sayings
- Accessories: Mini Brads
