Welcome to a Saturday Blog Hop at Create with Connie & Mary. Our theme this week is Playing With Patterns. The first thing that came to mind was the Playing With Patterns Designer Paper. How perfect! Take a look at my multi-layered card:

The Best Plaid Builder Dies made me some interesting layers to play with:

Here are the steps and Card Recipe I used:
- Card Base: Misty Moonlight Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
- Layer #2: Playing With Patterns Designer Paper 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. Cut the pattern using the Best Plaid Builder Dies. Make sure you keep all of the little squares that fall off. Glue to card front.
- Layer #3: Using all of the squares that fell off of the dic-cut shape, flip them over to the other side and glue them back in the holes on Layer #2 using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer #4: Using Misty Moonlight Cardstock, cut the 2nd die-cut shape from the Best Plaid Builder Dies. Glue over the small squares and add glue to each tip and press in place.
- Layer #5: Whisper White Cardstock cut with the 2-1/4″ Circle Punch. Emboss using the Hammered Metal Embossing Folder. Glue to card front, centered.
- Layer #6: Stamp the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set on Whisper White Cardstock using Misty Moonlight Ink. Cut with the 2″ Circle Punch and glue over Layer #5 using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add a few Butterfly Gems to the sentiment layer.
