Paper Pumpkin Pop Up Blog Hop May Good Things Grow!

March 29, 2018 7 Comments

Welcome Everyone! To the debut of the Paper Pumpkin Pop-Up Blog Hop! We are a team of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators hopping together today with “alternative Paper Pumpkin project ideas”. We are going to “pop up” unexpectedly with blog hops every once in a while to inspire you. We are using the March 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit for our hop today and I am so excited to be part of this team. I will direct you to the next person in the hop at the bottom of my post.
I decided to use a little bit of everything for my projects. I had SO MUCH fun playing with my kit this month. We are all fans of the Paper Pumpkin subscriptions and what is great is that you can follow the directions that are included with your kit using the suggested designs or you can create alternative projects like we will all be showing you today. Take a peek at the two coordinating projects I created with the May Good Things Grow kit:

I used some of the die-cuts, some of the designer paper layers, guts from one of the envelopes that I cut up, twine, ribbon, the embellishments, a little bit of stamping and some of our wooden embellishments that were all gifted to us in celebration of Paper Pumpkin’s 5th Anniversary Celebration! That’s a LOT OF STUFF! Let’s look at the card first:

I created a faux shadow box to add some of my elements to. I love that the die-cut banners and wooden embellishments have two sides to them. I opted for the white side on both. Did you see that whole big, humongous sheet of Stampin’ Dimensionals that came with the kit? Wowza!

Next I adorned one of our Silver Mini Gable Boxes. But wait, why is the box white and not silver? I took the box apart, turned it over to the white side and reassembled it! I had some left-over designer paper pieces from one of the envelopes so I covered three sides of the box and then added the scalloped flap to the front:

The beautiful ribbon and twine were perfect to add to the center of the box like I did. I also added the same elements and layers to the very front of the box to coordinate with my card:

Thanks so much for visiting me today and I hope you enjoyed my blog hop projects. I will now direct you to my wonderful teammate Janet Wakeland and make sure you visit all of my teammates today!
