I was asked to create a project for the Paper Pumpkin Blog recently, with the June 2018 kit. It was an honor to create an Alternative Project for their blog. I wanted to use 3 of the die-cut cakes on my card so I created a “long” card:

I also incorporated the Broadway Birthday suite of projects. It was so neat that Stampin’ Up! and Paper Pumpkin joined forces and coordinated the kit with some of the products in our Annual Catalog! I think it was a HUGE hit!

These are the layers of my card:
- Card Base: Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 7-1/2″. Score at 4-1/4″ and fold.
- Layer #2: Lovely Lipstick Cardstock 7″ x 4″. Glue to card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer #2: Whisper White Cardstock 6-1/2 x 3-1/2″. Stamp the two sentiments at the bottom from the Broadway Birthday stamp set using Lovely Lipstick & Lemon Lime Twist Inks. Wrap the twine around the cardstock layer 3 times and tie into a bow. Glue three of the die-cut cakes using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Glue 3 candles to the cake in the center. Stamp the twinkle image at the top between the cakes. Glue a few sequins in place and glue the cardstock layer to the front of the card.
