Paper Pumpkin August Kit & Projects! - Debbie Henderson, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

Paper Pumpkin for August has arrived. Before I show you the intended projects using the kit contents, I have quite a story to tell you. A few months ago, Paper Pumpkin by Stampin’ Up! decided to start adding cello clear wrapping to the outside of our boxes. More protection and I remember the outburst by some, about filling up our landfills with more plastic. I for one have never received a damaged box. I did receive one that was soaking wet in my mailbox but the contents were projected from the inside wrapping.

Now I can finally say I have received a totally demolished box. This is what my

August kit looked like when I picked it out of our mailbox this past week:

The first words that I uttered were “Holy Cow”! What the heck happened to my box? It was almost as flat as a pancake. If you look closely, you can actually see black tire marks on the end. You can tell that the box was run over by something. You know what saved my box? That cello clear wrap. The box has not been re-taped. No one tried to fix it. I came exactly the way you see it with some of the cello clear wrap torn but still holding the box and contents intact:

but again, notice the black markings:

I was almost scared to look inside but you can see below, everything is fine. Even the ink spot!

I opened up the kit packet and nothing was damaged at all.
