Pals Paper Arts-PPA74 & Sneak Peek

December 24, 2010 3 Comments

Merry Christmas Eve! This will be a quick post since I’ve got lots to do for traveling tomorrow. The card for today is from a sketch challenge at Pals Paper Arts:

My Card:

“Thanks for Caring” is a new stamp set that will be available to you on Jan. 4th. I thought I would create a sympathy card because it seems like the winter months are the months when you possibly will need one (I hope I won’t). I don’t have many of them on hand as I usually add them to my sister-in-laws collection that she sells for me in her floral shop. According to her, sympathy and get well are her top sellars. Isn’t that a little sad? I stamped the butterfly with “Soft Suede” ink on “Soft Suede” cardstock:

Card Supplies:
  • Cardstock: Soft Suede, Very Vanilla
  • DSP: Elegant Soiree
  • Accessories: Seam Binding Ribbon in Very Vanilla
  • Inks: Soft Suede
  • Stamp Set:Thanks for Caring
  • Tools: Scallop Border Punch, Corner Rounder Punch

This is such a lovely sympathy card. It's sad when we have to use them but your card will certainly bring comfort to someone.
