Pals Paper Arts-PPA21-Theme Challenge
Winter and holiday themed projects are welcome.
What good timing this is for us in “Maine” today. The weather outside is windy and -24 degree’s. Yes, that is the “negative” sign I just posted! Winter is definately here to stay.
This is my card for the Theme Challenge:
I used an old retired set from Stampin’ Up! that I have never been able to part with. It is called “Winter Play” and dates back to 2001! I love all of the images in this set, it brings out the kid in you.
I dry embossed the background with Texture Plates. If you click on the image you’ll get a close-up of the texturized background. It did not photo all that well. The snowflake image is from “Snow Swirled”. All images were colored using a blender pen and water color pencils. As you know, water coloring is one of my favorite techniques and Stampin’ Up!’s water color pencils are great to use. Add a few brads to give the card some sparkle!
Only 8 more days left ’til Christmas!
