This week’s challenge at Pals Paper Arts is a Holiday Photo Inspiration Challenge. Simply use the photo below to get the creativity wheels turning. You can draw inspiration from the photo’s elements, colors, or even overall theme. All winter holidays or themes are welcome.
My Card:
Background: Chocolate Chip cardstock
1st layer: Top Note Die cut in Sahara Sand
Elements: Little Leaves Die Cut, 1/2″ punch in Real Red Cardstock with holly’s from the Berry Christmas stamp set in Craft White Ink. (2) Modern Label Punch in Chocolate Chip (one cut in half lengthwise). Word Punch (1 cut in half lengthwise) in Chocolate Chip.
Stamp Sets: Four The Holidays and Berry Christmas
Ink: Real Red, Uni-Ball Signo Gel Pen (to give wood look to sleigh)
Accessories: Stampin’ Dimensionals (Holly Berries) Water Color Pencils to highlight browns.
I also sprayed the whole card with a Shimmer Mist spray made with alcohol and Shimmer Paints from Stampin’ Up! The whole card glitters but is hard to capture in the photo. It just Shimmers!!
Check out the inspiration samples on the website.

Very pretty! Love the use of the leaves and the gel pen along with the muted/wood tones. Well done!
It's great how you made the sleigh – love the card. I have never used shimmer paints but it sounds like I had better order some!
