Happy 50th Anniversary to my parents! On July 4th we honored both of my parents for their milestone! I’ve got tons of pictures but thought I would post this one with their cake. We tried to duplicate their wedding from 50 years ago and this was a re-make of their cake. My mom is a very sentimental person and over a 50 year span, had kept her wedding dress, purse, ring bearer pillow and her pearls. We set up a display with all of these items along with some wedding pictures and current pictures of the kids, grand kids and great grand kids.
This is a photo of their 50th wedding invitation that I created:
I used “Whisper White” as the background color and layered a “Top Note Die” shape in “Gold”.
I typed the invitation wording on my computer in Word and tiled 4 per page. Once printed, I cut the sheet in 4 and used the “Top Note Die” to cut the shape. Adhere to inside of card.
I also used the “Top Note Die” for the shape of the RSVP cards that were included in the invitation mailing.
I used the “Fancy Favor Die” to create all of the goodie bags. I printed the information for the wording in Word and cut out using the “Curly Label Punch” and layered over “Gold” cut out with the “Scallop Circle Punch”, add a bow and “50”, fill with mints and tie bows to finish off the goodie bags.
The “Card”. Dave and I presented this card to my parents:
- Carstock: Whisper White and Gold
- Stamp Sets: Elements of Style, Well Scripted
- Dies: Scallop Die
- Tools: Heat Gun and Embossing Powders
All stamped images were embossed in “Gold Embossing Powder” to create texture
