Each year, I try to host a luncheon or BBQ for my customers that hosted workshops for me during the year. I also have a few team members that I invite because most of my team members are also part of my monthly clubs. Dave and I usually try to host a BBQ during the summer months, but because of his knee replacement surgery and kidney surgery, that didn’t happen so we made it into a Christmas Luncheon instead.
These were the invites that I sent out using the Dashing Along Designer Paper:
Because I made a lot of these invites, I used my Silhouette Cameo cutting machine to cut out a bunch of stockings and then embossed them with the Swirls & Curls Embossing Folder. I used Very Vanilla and Real Red for Cardstocks:
I added a sentiment that I printed on my printer and cut with the Darling Label Punch, I surrounded the stocking and label with leaves cut with the Leaf Punch. You can see how many I created here, I can’t recall but I think I had 26:
One of the gifts I gave all of my attendees, are the cute mason jars you see below. I decorated the fronts using the First Frost Bundle, Festive Farmhouse Designer Paper and the Everyday Label Punch. I’ll tell you what these are as you keep reading. Here’s a handful of them. I made 14 total:
You’ll see a few close-up photos of the detail on each jar:
I special ordered these mason jar lids on Amazon and you can now see what the jar is used for. It’s to store twines inside to pull them out through the top for easy access. How neat!
This was my table set-up for everyone:
Each place setting:
Paper Pumpkin still had some of the November kits from last year in the Online Store so I purchased a bunch to use for my luncheon. I embossed them with the Cable Knit Embossing Folder. They are now sold out. I had also just recently ordered some new pens for my business so I gave everyone a Debbie’s Designs pen:
I made some snack goodies and packaged them with cello bags and a tag from the Sincerely Santa Project Kit which is also now sold out:
As the attendees arrived, I had them pick a gift from the bucket below to use for a “Right to Left” game that we played a little later on:
They also guessed how many candies were in this jar to win the jar along with a gift:
And we had a lot of fun with this one below. I created card kits with everything you see here. Everyone had the same exact card kit to make a card with:
And along with the card kit, they could all use the Dashing Deer Bundle which included the stamp set and dies, a few punches, a few inks and adhesives to come up with a card for a card contest:
You can see everyone busy creating a card in a few photos below. It was fun to hear everyone giggle and laugh trying to come up with their own designs:

The next set of photos shows everyone diligently focusing on the games that I played:
We played “What’s In Your Purse”
“Right to Left Gift Game”
“Christmas Drawing Game”
I found all of these games on Pinterest:
Dave and I cooked a great meal. We had Corn Flakes-Coated Roasted Chicken, Veggies, Baked Potatoes, Homemade Rolls, Cranberry Sauce, Pickles and a Brownie-Chocolate-Pudding-Strawberry-Cool Whip desert which I forgot to take a photo of.
Dave even sat with us! What a good sport! He helped me out the whole time too!
And finally, a group photo:
