While in Thailand, I am able to meet up with my Upline and her husband. An Upline is someone you sign up under when becoming a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. Dave and I met Stella 2 years ago in Salt Lake City Utah when we attended convention. This will be the first time we get to meet Doug, her husband. It is custom practice for Downlines to present a gift to their Uplines when meeting in person at a Stampin’ Up! gathering. Most times, the gifts are handmade. I showed you this project I created for the 3D Thursday team a few weeks ago in this BLOG POST and here are the photo’s of my Post It Note Holder:

If you click on the blog post above, you’ll see a FREE Project Sheet there that you can print to create this 3D Post-It Note Holder. The project received rave reviews!

Because the 3D portion is an acrylic frame, I knew it would travel okay, in my suitcase if I packed it within my clothing to protect it so…..I added a coordinating card and gift tag to create an ensemble:

Isn’t that the neatest trio of projects?

Since this was all packed away in my suitcase when I set up this blog post, I don’t have measurements for the designer paper layers, but you can probably figure it out close enough to create a card and tag just like these:

And the coordinating gift tag:

This is what my gift package looks like all ready to hand over to Stella. All 3 items were perfect for me to package into a Stampin’ Up! Cello bag. I topped the bag with the Old Olive Mini Chevron Ribbon to hold my tag in place:

I love the way the Stampin’ Up! logo peeks out at the front on the baggie. Do you think Stella will love this idea? I think so too! Here are the supplies I used for all of my projects:
Misc: Post-It Note, Acrylic Frame, Large Cello Bag

I like this. I am curious what colors you used on the flowers. I got to stamp and punch some daisies the other day and stuck to boring yellow.
This is brilliant and cute. Do you have tutorials ?
