I am again using the Mother of Pearl technique that was first shown in this blog post. I am in love with this technique. If you don’t own that little jar of Shimmer Paint in Frost White yet, then this card will make you want to purchase some:

This technique is gorgeous on my flower .Using “Shimmer Paint in Frost White”, scrunch up Saran Wrap, dip in paint and pounce on “Glossy Cardstock” and leave some blank spots. Let dry. Sponge ink color over the dried “Shimmer Paint”. I used “Melon Mambo” and a “Sponge Dauber”. Wipe with tissue to remove residue. Using the “Flower Folds Die”, cut your flower shapes and stack them on top of each other. I used a “Paper Daisy” that I dipped in “Daffodil Delight Reinker” and dried for the center of the flower topped off with a button.
TIP: Create faux thread for your button by cutting a very small sliver of cardstock and threading through the holes. Secure with a mini glue dot in the back!
Enjoy your day today. Make sure you take a little bit of time to relax in your stamp room…it’s good therapy!

I have never used shimmer paint but now I will. It is beautiful.
