With the Easter Holiday just having been celebrated we move on to the next holiday!! Mother’s Day is one of the busiest holidays celebrated, especially in the card and flowers departments. It is a time to thank and honor “Mom” for everything she has done for us in our lifetime. I made a few cards ahead of time for my sister-in-law’s floral shop. The first card was made using the “Thoughts & Prayers” stamp set.
I used Ballet Blue for the card and I also sponged around the edges of the card with the Chocolate Chip ink and a Stamping Sponge. I used a piece of the Candy Lane Designer Series Paper #113980 for the brown strip. I then stamped the branch image from the “Thoughts & Prayers” stamp set on white card stock with Chocolate Chip ink and outlined the branches of the stamped image with the Almost Amethyst marker and added a few flower brads in the same color that are not SU. I used the Chocolate Chip cardstock to outline the white card stock and added ribbon. I then added the Mother’s Day sentiment with Chocolate Chip ink at the bottom from an older stamp set that I have.

These 2 cards were made with the “Botanical Blooms” stamp set that was available in the last Sale-A-Bration promotion that ended on March 31st. I love this set as it is a two step stamping set. I also used the new eyelet border punch on the first card.
