This is my first attempt at Mojo Monday!! View the blog here: Mojo Monday
This is an explanation from their website explaining Mojo Monday:
Mojo Monday is a sketch challenge created by Julee Tilman on her personal blog, Poetic Artistry in 2007. Intended as a way to inspire you to get creative each week, Julee designs and posts a new sketch every Monday. At the beginning of 2009, the challenge moved here to its own blog and got its own design team full of talented ladies who have faithfully followed the challenges.
Mojo challenges are open to anyone, and you’re free to use stamps and supplies from any company. The challenges are meant to be fun and inspire you to keep challenging yourself creatively. Most weeks we’re just playing for fun, but once a month we have a Mojo Madness Contest. You don’t have to have a blog to play, there are many online galleries like Splitcoaststampers, Papercraft Planet, FlickR and Photobucket that allow you to post your cards online for free. Wherever you have your card posted, just navigate to it, copy the URL in the address bar and paste it in the Mr. Linky form to add your link.
This is my first card using the sketch below:
The stamp set I used is the Arte Oriental from Stampin’ Up. I used the Bella Birds DSP for the background layered over white. The stamp was inked in Chocolate Chip and the image was colored using the Stampin’ Write Markers in Gable Green and Butter. I brushed on some blue Stampin’ Pastels with a sponge for the background. I then cut multiple layers using my Cricut Machine since I don’t yet have the Big Shot. Add pearls to the corners along with brown ribbon and viola!
Very pretty card Debbie.
