It’s Mojo Monday………on a Tuesday!
We were on the road all day yesterday for our business and arrived home around 6:30 p.m. I was too pooped to do anything, and today was catch up day. I’m a day late for the sketch.
About an hour before we arrived home, in total darkness on I-95, I was driving….we came upon a deer that had been struck and layed motionless in the passing lane. I was in the midst of passing a car at the time, and all of sudden, there’s the deer, (unfortunately he had not survived), no time to react. I had no where to go but to straddle the deer with both hands gripping the steering wheel and hoping our SUV wouldn’t take a beating. I heard a few clunks under the vehicle as we successfully made it back from the passing lane to the driving lane. We both breathed a sigh of relief. All I could think of was we made it and thank you Lord! I was so glad we did not own a small car. My son just recently went from a small car to a Jeep and he travels the I-95 quite frequently. This is a bad time of year for deer and moose in our area.
Anyway, back to this weeks sketch. This is the sketch:
I just love all the scallops. I used the Eylet Border punch on my two layers. The stamp set used is a Hostess Stamp set called “Of The Earth”. You can earn this stamp set by hosting a workshop. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to make the bird image pop.
