Hello and welcome to a new week at Merry Monday Challenge. This week we are all drawing inspiration from Linda’s lovely photo above. I chose to use the golds and reds mixed with the white on my card below:
What is really neat about this card is that the front is mostly all ribbon. I alternated retired Cherry Cobbler Ribbon and Gold Mini Tinsil Trim. In order for the ribbon to work well on my white cardstock, I wrapped it around on the backsides and glued the ends in place using Tear & Tape.
Now I know what your question will be…how did I get that white layer to stay glued onto the Gold Glimmer Paper layer? I added Tombow Multipurpose Glue around all the edges, on the ribbon and some in the center, I then placed the layer where I wanted it and added several heavy punches on top for weight overnight. It’s really stuck on there!
I completed my card by adding Gold Shimmer Paper sprigs cut with the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies. Hope you like my card and please visit my teammates at Merry Monday Challenge!

At first I thought that the red was paper strips. Very creative with the ribbon and tinsel. It is perfect with the gold glitter springs and mat. A lovely card.
