Merry Monday Challenge #272!

January 8, 2018 12 Comments

I am displaying a little bit of humor today for Merry Monday Challenge. Leanne wanted us to use Glasses on your cards and as you can tell by the inspiration photo above, these would be drinking glasses or wine glasses right? Well….what about reading glasses? That counts, right?

My stamped moose is sporting reading glasses and my background layer is full of reading glass. Isn’t my noose adorable? I even cut around his two ears with an Exacto knife to slide the hat tucked in there:

I haven’t scrunched up ribbon for a long time too so I thought that would be perfect as an added layer to my card. All I did was add a piece of Tear & Tape and then press the ribbon in place by pinching bits of it and pressing down to the tape. An easy way to create scrunched or ruched ribbon:

Thanks for allowing me to display my humor today and make sure you go visit my teammates at Merry Monday Challenge to see what type of glasses they used on their cards!

Card Supplies:

  • Retired: Jolly Friends, Jolly Hat Builder Punch, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon
  • Misc: Exacto Knife

This is adorable Debbie. Love how you "tucked" the hat.
I've been a little MIA lately due to some medical issues but hope I'm back on track now. Happy New Year!

This moose is too cool! And thank you for using EYEglasses because that's what I thought this challenge was all about. Drinking, heck, you don't have to wait for Christmas to do that.
