I had on hand, the perfect vellum sheets for Kristie’s challenge of Candy Canes on our cards this week at Merry Monday:

I added a layer of Whisper White Cardstock under the vellum to really make the red pop. I also had this idea in my head to create my own Candy Cane sticks with the same vellum. What do you think?

Once I was done with my card, I thought it needed “something” so I added strings of Rhinestone Jewels around the rectangle…yup, just what the card needed!

So….I addressed all of my Christmas cards last week and guess what? Because I created a card for Merry Monday each week…no stress was involved. I had enough cards to send out to family and friends without having to worry about it. Start playing with our weekly challenges now and you won’t feel the crunch to get crafty next year when Christmas rolls around!
