May Club Projects using Best Birds!

I just wrapped up my two clubs for the month of May and these were the two projects everyone created. I love the little bird images and wanted to incorporate them in both projects. The stamp set is called Best Birds and coordinates with the Birds & Blooms Thinlits Dies.

I am happy to tell you that this stamp set in going to be carrying over to the new 2017-2018 Annual Catalog….yay! When we lost the Bird Punch awhile back, this sort of replaced it so I’m glad it’s staying!

The basket is one that I’ve made before and I actually have a YouTube video HERE that you can watch. It’s so simple to use an 8″ x 8″ piece of cardstock and transform it into a 3D project:

The bird is stamped with Real Red Ink and we used a Blender Pen to “color with the lines”…which means picking up color with the Blender Pen and the stamped lines and spreading it:
