Welcome to our October Maui Achievers Blog Hop! October is the start of a new year for Stampin’ Up! and we are all demonstrators who earned a 2nd trip to Maui Hawaii since our incentive trip was cancelled for this year. I hope you’ll enjoy seeing projects from all over the world!
For today’s card, I used the Emboss Resist Technique:

This is a card I created during World Card Making Day for a fall theme challenge. You can see all of the beautiful sponged colors I used on my background after I heat embossed the leaves with VersaMark Ink and White Embossing Powder.
Here are a few more photos of the detail:

Follow along with my steps:
- Card Base: Thick Whisper White Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
- Layer #2: Whisper White Cardstock cut with the largest die from the Celebrations Labels Dies. Stamp the leaf images from the Love Of Leaves Dies using VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle with White Embossing Powder and melt with the Heat Tool. Use Sponge Daubers to add Granny Apple Green Ink, Highland Heather Ink and Pumpkin Pie Ink over the embossing Wipe with a tissue and wrap the white ribbon from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack. Tie into a bow on the left side. Glue cardstock layer to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer #3: Whisper White Cardstock cut with the smallest dei from the Celebrations Labels Dies. Stamp the sentiment at the bottom using Highland Heather Ink. Cut the two branch images using the dies. Glue to card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to the background.
