Good Morning! I hope all is well where you are. I know a lot of you are finding it difficult to stay home during this corona virus pandemic. Dave and I are used to living this way because when we found out about his cancer a little over a year ago, we started being very careful around people because we wanted to keep him healthy. I know it’s hard for some of you, but it will hopefully pass soon. How scary of a situation though.
My son Greg and his girlfriend were two weeks into hiking the Appalachian Trail when this all broke loose. They drove in a rental car from Maine to Georgia to start their adventure along with their dog Roux. They had successfully hit their first 100 mile hike out of the 2200 miles and were 2 days from reaching the Smoky Mountains. They had to make the difficult decision to abandon their dream because a lot of the towns they were supposed to come to, to restock their food and supplies were shutting down and also taking the chance of coming in contact with the virus was too iffy. On the day they made the decision to rent a car to drive back home, the Smoky Mountains were shut down to hikers because a lot of people in that area were flocking to the mountains to escape the virus. They’ve been home for 4 days now and in self-quarantine. Mom is happy that they are away from danger now and safely home.
I have two projects to show you today that are from my monthly club and this was for March from the Sassy Stampers Club group and we are going to meet next week virtually since we can’t meet in person. I’ve mailed all of my club members their card kits and we will stamp live!

For the first card, I showed the girls how to add ink to our Flowering Foils Designer Paper sheets which have rose gold and silver foils imprinted in them. We sponged Lovely Lipstick and Flirty Flamingo Inks. You can see that the ink resists the foils so the shininess still peeks through the color. You can earn the designer paper sheets for free with a $50 order for two more days only!

I also used the Tags In Bloom stamp set for the sentiment layer and the Power Of Hope Bundle for the embossing on the Silver Foil Sheets. Two more products you can earn for free during Sale-A-Bration and a $100 order for each. The Tags In Bloom set includes 19 stamps total and coordinates with the Label Me Lovely Punch and the Label Me Fancy Punch and the Power of Hope Bundle has 7 stamps and an embossing folder:

Our next card is called a Bay Window Card Fold. It’s set up the same way as an easel card, with a stopper in place to hold the card open like you see in the next few photos:

We used the Best Dressed Designer Paper, the Dressed To Impress stamp set and the All Dressed Up Dies. Each card was a little different because each person had a different pattern from the designer paper package to use. This is the inside of the card:

- Cardstock base is 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score at 3/8″, 1-7/8″, 3-5/8″, 5-1/8″ and 5-1/2″.
- Designer Paper: Cut down to 6″ x 4″ and cut the following strips on the 6″ side in order so the patterns flow. 1-1/4″, 1-1/2″, 1-1/4″ and the remainder is for the inside of the card
- Cardstock: Two pieces for the front on each end that measure 4″ x 3/8″.
Will you be placing an order today? If so, please use the monthly hostess code when prompted at checkout to earn free products from me. If your order is $150 of more, no need to add the code so you can earn your own hostess rewards! Thank you so much for supporting a small business owner!
