I Just Called to Say I Love You is our theme this week for our Create With Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop. I used two stamp sets on this card along with the Twinkle, Twinkle Designer Paper. The stamp sets are Healing Hugs and Friendly Expressions. Don’t they look fabulous together?
Once I had my Whisper White Cardstock layer stamped and a designer paper layer glued to the bottom, I added a strip of the Petal Pink ribbon. The ribbon is shiny and shimmery. So pretty!
The stamped images are so realistic aren’t they? That’s because this stamp set is from our distINKtive line of sets. The images were produced using real photographs. Look at the detail on the flower and leaves:
Card Layers:
- Card Base: Petal Pink 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
- Layer #2: Night Of Navy Cardstock 5-7/8″ x 4-1/8″. Glue to card base.
- Layer #3: Whisper White Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue a strip of the Twinkle, Twinkle Designer Paper that measures 5-1/4″ x 1-1/2″ to the bottom. Stamp the leaves using Coastal Cabana Ink and the sentiment using Night Of Navy Ink. Set aside.
- Ribbon: Glue a strip of ribbon Petal Pink Ribbon from the Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack to the front where the designer paper ends and glue, wrapped to the underside. Glue cardstock layer to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Flower & Leaves: Stamp the flower using Petal Pink Ink and the leaves (3) using Mint Macaron Ink on Whisper White Cardstock. Hand-cut all images. Glue the flower using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Glue on leaf cluster flat tucked under the flower and the other two are glued using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
