Lovely as a Tree

Use your “Square Punch” to make a window scene: And then use your “Tasteful Trim Die” to make an awning. For the awning, I trimmed two pieces cut from the die and layered. I then used “Stampin’ Dimensionals” underneath to create height. I also added “Pearl Jewels” where all the scallops met: This card may look like a lot of work……but it’s not! I stamped my tree(s) image on “Whisper White cardstock” with “Early Espresso ink”. I then used “Sponge Daubers” along with different inks to color the scenery. Once the scenery was completed, I drew in a very faint pencil line horizontally in the center of my cardstock piece. This gives me a guide to follow when using my “Square Punch”. Instead of stamping edge to edge, I leave about 1/8″ space between squares to allow for the window grids. This way, my scenery doesn’t look like it was stretched out. Using adhesive, space your squares evenly to create the window look by layering over a larger piece of cardstock. I used “Early Espresso cardstock” for my layer. Supplies:
