Aww, my precious and tiny new granddaughter Kylee being baptized into our Catholic Church with her big sister Kaitlynn watching. Our family gathered to be a part of this celebration about a month ago. Poor Kylee cried through much of the ceremony. I snapped this photo as our priest gave her a blessing. You can see her little lip start to quiver in this photo. The priest of their church is actually from Africa and he had a deep, loud voice and I think it scared it. She was fine once the ceremony was over-with.
I made this card for Kylee to go with a cross necklace Dave and I gave her as a memento gift of her baptism:

I used Blushing Bride as the Cardstock and Ink color of choice and kept the card monochromatic. The cross was created with two die-cut pieces and I sponged the detailed one to make it stand out more:

The embossing folder I used for the background is the new Tufted Embossing Folder. It is so pretty as my background layer and gave my card a quilted look:

And finally, this was the inside of the card:

Here are a few more photos as I end today. This one is of Kylee and big sister Kaitlynn:

And my last one is of the family: TJ, my daughter Jessica, Kaitlynn & Kylee. Oh and I should mention that the baptismal gown you see Kylee wearing was also worn by Kaitlynn and her Mom & my son Greg. I made the matching gown and hat for my own children when they were both baptized and I passed the set on to my daughter when Kaitlynn was born!
