Happy 11th Birthday Jeremy!
I created this card and goodie bag for my husband’s grandson Jeremy. He celebrated his 11th birthday on July 4th. Because we were due to be out of town for my parent’s 50th Anniversary, we dropped off his gifts a few nights before his birthday.
I created this card to depict “water”. Jeremy’s gifts consisted of pool related items since his family owns a pool that he uses all summer, plus he loves to fish! Most of this card is completed by using punches. I started out with the background color “Tempting Turquoise” and added the “Top Note” die cut using my “Big Shot”.
I stamped the bottom of the “Top Note” with grasses from the “Inspired By Nature” stamp set in “Old Olive Ink”. For the little fishes, I used the “Ornament Punch” and snipped off the top of the ornament. I used “Sahara Sand” and “Early Espresso” for ink colors. Using the same colored cardstock, I cut one each of the “5-Petal Punch” and snipped all the flower petals individually. Glue to each fish to create the fins. I then added a brad to each fish to form the eyes.
