You have seen me post photos of projects from lots of Live Classes I have been hosting on my Stamp & Ink Designs Facebook Group lately. Only because I wanted to help and keep stampers stamping during COVID-19. It’s been hard for everyone to try to stay home and safe. What I haven’t shown you is what I post a few days before class each time. I post photos like the one below that show what I’m using for class and I give them the measurements of all the papers I use and invite them to stamp along with me. This was for my Class #21:

This was an idea that was presented to me from a member of my group page. Gloria had seen a card with the sliding interlocking mechanism. She sent me a photo (totally different then what I created), and asked if I could figure it out. Fifteen minutes later my card was born and ready for a class:

The two front panels are cut a little shorter on each end so that there’s a gap in the center. That’s where the interlocking mechanism slides up and down or completely off. It’s pretty neat!

The inside of the card:

And here I show all of the layers of the mechanism with a strip of Foam Adhesive Strip
right in the center that serves as the sliding portion:

As always, I invite you to join my group page so you can view and participate in my free classes. We do have lots of fun. Click here to join my Facebook page:
