Hostess Gift and Workshop

I held a workshop for Bev and girls on Thursday. This was what I presented Bev with as a hostess gift. I decorated a Stampin’ Up! tin with DSP and included four cards inside:

This is the tin. I used So Many Scallops for the sentiment stamp and punched it out using a Large Oval Punch layered with a Scallop Punch. The flowers are layered also using the Boho Blossoms Punch. The strip of DSP was punched with the new punch called Pinking Hearts Border Punch in the Occasions Mini Catalog.

The first card was created with the Butterfly punch and the sentiment is from the Well Scripted stamp set in the Occasions mini.

For the second card I used a hostess stamp set called Wings of Friendship. You can earn this stamp set for free when you host a workshop!

The third showcases the new Extra Large Two Step Bird punch, Pinking Hearts Border Punch and the sentiment from Sincere Salutations.

And finally, the last card uses a retired stamp set that I can not recall the name of at this moment and also the Scallop Border Punch. When I recall the name of the stamp set, I’ll update this post.

These are the cards that were demonstrated at the workshop:

Supplies used: Bigz Beautiful Butterflies die, Modern Label Punch, Word Window Punch, Eyelet Border Punch, Stampin’ Pastels, Real Red Classic Ink Pad, Rhinestone brads-square, retired DSP.

Supplies used: Fifth Avenue Floral Stamp Set, Slit Punch, 3/8″ Corner Rounder Punch, Rich Razzleberry Ink. The dual border tutorial formed with the 3/8″ Corner Rounder Punch can be found here.

This last card is what everyone was able to create and take home with them. It is called an easel card. This card uses the stamp sets With All My Heart and I {Heart} Hearts from the Occasions Mini Catalog. Inks are Chocolate Chip and Real Red. Stay tuned for a new tutorial on creating this easel card.
