My husband Dave and I have friends that purchase bees each year and tend to hives all summer collecting honey. Their honey is very delicious! When the “Honeycomb Embossing Folder” first debuted in our catalog, I instantly thought of them and wanted to create a “bee” card:

I used a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ More Mustard Cardstock panel and embossed it with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder. I then used my Paper Snips to cut out portions of the honeycombs.
I then added the sentiment from the Sent with Love Stamp Set inked in Soft Suede Ink and stamped on Whisper White Cardstock. I cut the cardstock out using the Bitty Frames Framelits Dies and used Stampin Dimensionals to glue it in place. I then added a few branches in Old Olive Cardstock cut with the Bird Punch.
Now on to my honey:

Do you like the glossy-ness of my honey sitting on some of the honeycombs? I used Crystal Effects here and there on my honeycombs. You have to make sure it dries for about 30 minutes before continuing on.
Once the “honey” was dried, I then added a bunch of bees. I inked my bee stamp from the Nature Walk stamp set on Whisper White Cardstock and hand-cut. A few of them I stamped directly on the card front:

I colored my bees with a More Mustard Stampin’ Write Marker and glued the hand-cut bees in place using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Once all of my bees were colored and glued in place, I added Dazzling Details to all of the wings.

Stampin’ Up! Supplies:
- Nature Walk, Sent with Love
- Cardstock: More Mustard, Whisper White, Soft Suede, Old Olive
- Inks: Soft Suede, More Mustard Stampin’ Write Marker
- Tools: Big Shot Machine, Honeycomb Embossing Folder, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Crystal Effects, Dazzling Details, Spritzer, Bird Punch, Bitty Banners Framelits Dies, Paper Snips
