I don’t have a project to post today. I am traveling to my home town to go get my Mom to take her back home with me so Dave and I can take care of her for awhile. My Dad has now been gone for a little bit over a month and Mom is not doing well. It’s so hard to be too far away to travel daily to help her so I finally convinced her to come home with me. Grieving is a difficult emotion to go through and I want to help her on her journey to getting better, stronger and healtier. Please pray for my Mom and I will try my best to post as much as I can while she is here, but she comes first. I do have my Saturday Blog Hop all posted for tomorrow so make sure you visit!

Take it easy!
🙂
My father passed away in July and I'm dealing with a similar situation with my mom. It's so hard…..they were married for 57 years and she was total care.giver in his last 3 years. Bless you and your mom as you spend precious time together.
Take care you and your Mom need each other now…
I've been in similar shoes and it's hard. Take the time to do what you need for both of you. I'm sure she will feel better just being around you. Take care!
We''ll still be here waiting Debbie, right now, and always really – your Mom comes first! xx
Oh yes, your mom comes first but don't forget to take care of yourself too.
You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Take Care
I know what it is like when our Mother needs us. My prayers go with you.
you are a good daughter looking after your precious Mum, grieving is hard when we lose our life's partner, my husband and I were married for 50 years and he died 4-1/2 years ago and I still grieve but like your Mum I have a good daughter and daughter in law, who take it in turns to look after me, all my prayers are with you, Mum and Dave, I am sure Mum will get over this hard time, hugs, Jas
Some years back I took a calligraphy class & remembered this "Mother" poem & wrote it in calligraphy the best I could. It is still one of my favorites which describes a mother perfectly! Both my parents have passed & I still miss them badly. Spend as much time as you can & enjoy all your moments with your mother!
