Have A Seat!

The stamp set featured in my card today is called “Have A Seat”. Take a peek below:

Front porch, back porch, sitting room, dining room, or anywhere in between is a great place to have a seat and partake of a meal or just socialize. The antique, country look of the chairs in this set make them a charming addition to any project. To see one is to hear an invitation: “Let’s sit down and have a visit—catch up on things.” Available both in wood-mount and clear-mount.

I stamped the chair image on “Whisper White cardstock” in “Basic Black ink” and cut out with the “Decorative Label Punch” and then stamped a second time on “Baja Breeze cardstock”. Using the “Baja Breeze” stamped image, I used my “Paper Snips” to trim around the seat portion of the image and used adhesive to glue it to the stamped image on the “Whisper White” layer. I also sprayed a little bit of “Smooch Spritz in Silver Foil”. The 2 flowers are from the “Bliss” stamp set inked in “Baja Breeze ink” and hand cut.

The “Cherry Cobbler cardstock” background layer was embossed with the “Square Lattice Impressions Folder” and inked using a “Brayer” and “Whisper White Craft ink”. Gently roll your “Brayer” across the embossed areas of your cardstock.
