Today’s card is an old stamp set from
Stampin’ Up that I will never part with!!
It is one of the very first stamps I purchased from the 1997-1998 Catalog. It is called “Harvest Gathering” and I just love the details on this stamp set. I seem to be drawn to fall/autumn stamp sets.
I used Chocolate Chip cardstock layered with Whisper White cardstock followed by Razzleberry Lemonade DSP. I used the Ticket Corner Punch on the 2 layers. I then used my Eyelet Border Punch on a strip of Whisper White card stock and layered a smaller strip of Chocolate Chip that has a single line made with my Paper-Piercing Tool. The image was stamped on Whisper White card stock and the details were “colored” in using a Blender Pen and Watercolor Pencils. Out of all the techniques one can use for color, watercoloring is my favorite. You can add so much detail to an image. I layered the stamped image over Pumpkin Pie card stock, added Stampin’ Dimensionals and layered that over Chocolate Chip card stock. My final step was to punch out 3 circles using my 1/2″ Circle Punch and adding 3 orange brads.
