And here is my last Halloween card for this year!
What a great way to display the colors of candy corn in the center of a die-cut oval and then adorn the completed card with bats cut out with the Spooky Bats Punch!
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Whisper White Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
- Layer #2: Whisper White Cardstock 5″ x 3-3/4″. Cut an oval hole using the Layering Ovals Dies (3-1/2″ x 2-5/8″). Stamp the sentiment from the Spooky Sweets stamp set on the bottom right-hand corner using Memento Black Ink. Set aside.
- Layer #3: Cut 3 strips of cardstock to measure 3-1/4″ x 1-3/8″ using Whisper White, Pineapple Punch and Pumpkin Pie Cardstocks. Line them up side-by-side vertically and glue a scrap piece in the center to hold them all intact. Flip them over to the right side. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the edges and glue the white layer over the strips so that the colors peek through the oval hole. Glue to card base.
- Bats: Using the Spooky Bats Punch and Basic Black Cardstock, cut out a total of 4 bats. Glue to card front.
