A Good Egg

Now that Valentine’s Day has gone by, it’s time to post Easter cards. I had used my square punches on this DSP a while ago for another card and didn’t like the color combination. I thought I would hold on to the cutouts and use them on another card.

I really like the way this card turned out. I used Very Vanilla for my background layer. I used the 4 square cutouts and layered them with Chocolate Chip cardstock. I stamped the two images in Chocolate Chip ink and cut them out. I added color by using Stampin’ Up!’s Watercolor Pencils. The color really flows evenly when used on Watercolor Paper. I stamped the little egg that the chick is sitting in a second time on Very Vanilla cardstock and layered over the first image and adhered him with Stampin’ Dimensionals for height. The sentiment is from Well Scripted. I used the Little Leaves Sizzlit’s Die for the branch.
