Happy Dirtday!

August 21, 2011 3 Comments

I wanted to get a little dirty today so I used the “I Dig You” stamp set and played with some dirt! I remembered last spring how my granddaughter was soooo busy attending birthday parties for her little friends and prepared ahead by purchasing this stamp set. It is soooo cute. You can even change the dirt in the dump truck for some gifts or 3 little animals. I decided to stick with the dirt on this one:

This card is so full of layers. I added a lollipop stick (thanks Pam!). Notice how I covered the bottom of the stick……….with a mound of dirt! And my little flag………so easily done by using the Pennant Punch! Notice how I doubled up on the dump body part of the truck? It just looked so flat and plain sitting there so I stamped another truck and hand-cut the dump body and popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals:

Card Supplies:

  • Cardstock: Tangerine Tango, Whisper White, Soft Suede, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point
  • Stamp Set: I Dig You
  • DSP: Just Add Cake
  • Inks: Tangerine Tango, Soft Suede, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point
  • Tools: BigShot Machine, Scallop Circle Die, Scallop Edge Border Punch, Pennant Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals
  • Misc: Lollipop Sticks
