Back in March, I visited with my daughter Jessica and granddaughter Kaitlynn. I stayed for a week due to Jess being so close to going into labor with Kylee and her fiance being away for training for his job. I didn’t want my daughter being alone and we did a LOT of stuff!
Kaitlynn was invited to a friends birthday party. A boy party. She wanted me to help her make a Fly Guy card. Grammy had never heard of the Fly Guy so Kaitlynn quickly ran off to get one of the gifts for this boy. It was a Fly Guy book. Okay…..so I had a photo to go by and we dug out some punches and a Cricut machine I had given my daughter to use for school projects.
The Fly Guy card was born……

And he looks pretty darn close to the photo on the cover of the book.

We even found a stuffed Fly Guys on Amazon to go by also:

……and yup, he looks just like the Fly Guy on the card:

We used googly eyes and the sentiment is from a past Paper Pumpkin stamp set:

I think the Fly Guy is so homely that he’s super cute! What do you think? Kaitlynn reported back to me that her friend loved his card and book! And you never know what Grammy is going to learn from her grandkids do you? Thanks for visiting me today!

Great story Deb. I have never heard of the Fly Guy either. I love when someone wants something specific and special and we can come through.
Have a great Tuesday.
🙂
I agree Debbie, Fly Guy is so homely he's cute. Just think of the many things we would never hear about without our precious grandkids. Oh yeah, this is a super cute card.
