As I created this card, I thought back to my first workshop last fall. I made the girls cut out an image to add to their cards……..some of them expressed that the cutting was not fun!! Most of this card has cut-out images. I stamped the eggs with their decorations in Chocolate Chip ink on paper from the Patterns III paper pack. This paper pack is packed with beautiful designs and patterns in various colors. What is handy is that the paper comes in a pad that is 6×6 in size. You can earn this paper pack for free when you host a workshop.
For the chick, I stamped it three times, once on Whisper White, and two on Almost Amethyst. I cut out the two egg shells with my Paper Snippers and layered one on the first chick that I also cut out. The background layers are Almost Amethyst, Yo-Yo Yellow and Patterns III that has been punched with the Scallop Edge Border Punch. The sentiment was created with the Small Oval Punch layered over the Large Oval Punch also in Yo-Yo Yellow and I added a Brad and a sliver of white grosgrain ribbon.
