TGIF! I look forward to Friday’s even more and more as I get older. I am always so ready for the weekend. How about another type of lady bug punch art for today? I saw this cutie in a magazine subscription called “Paper Creations” and fell in love with it. The lady bug has several layers to make her stand out:

If you take another peek below, you’ll see what I mean about layers:

I punched the body using the 1 3/4″ Scallop Circle Punch 3 times using the Brights Paper Stack and cut them in half. I glued every single layer on top of another layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The little black pearls were easy too. Just color the Pearl Jewels with a black permanent marker, wait a few minutes and them stick them on. Glue the 2 wing sections to a Basic Black Cardstock layer cut with the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch. The head of the lady bug was made with the 1″ Circle Punch, cut 4 of them , score in half and glue all the halves to each other. How fun was that?
