These little creatures are so adorable. I thought I would incorporate 4 out of the 7 images for this card.
The Big Shot is my favorite tool. With the Big Shot machine, you can create die cuts with any of our exclusive Stampin’ Up! dies—or any Sizzix die. Not only can you create die cuts, but look at the textured background I created using Texturz Plates. I used Really Rust cardstock for the background layer. I then added a strip of More Mustard which I again used the Big Shot and this time, an Impressions Folder called Perfect Polka Dots and I added a decorative edge using the Scallop Edge Punch. For my four little creatures, I used different inks, Really Rust, More Mustard, Close to Cocoa & Pumpkin Pie. Once inked, I used the Rock ‘n Roll technique. You gently roll the stamp in a second color to give definition to the edges. Notice the Chocolate Chip ink on the edges of each image. I then used my 1 1/4″ Square Punch for each image and sponged the edges with Pumpkin Pie. I followed that with a Chocolate Chip layer that was cut using the Scallop Square Punch. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to give each layer height. The birthday sentiment is from the On Your Birthday stamp set and I used the Modern Label Punch and snipped one end off. I finished off the card by decorating one end of it with stars.
