Happy Friday! Is spring in the air where you are from? If so then this card is very appropriate for spring, don’t you think?

I came up with this idea using Stampin’ Up! Circles Collection Framelits Dies. I cut the largest circle which is scalloped, using Basic Gray Cardstock and folded it in half. I followed that by using the next size down using Eastern Elegance Designer Paper. Fold in half and glue to the folded scallop.
TIP: I found that if you glue both layers together and then fold, the 2nd layer buckles. It works better if you fold first and glue the 2nd layer while the card base is folded!
I then stamped my flower image on Whisper White Cardstock and cut out with the framelits. I colored my flower using a Blender Pen and my inks. I stamped a 2nd flower twice and a few leaves, all on Whisper White Cardstock. I colored all of the pieces and then hand-cut and placed over the first flower using Stampin’ Dimensionals:

- Stamps: Peaceful Petals
- DSP: Eastern Elegance
- Inks: Coastal Cabana, Calypso Coral, Smoky Slate and Basic Gray
- Cardstock: Basic Gray, Whisper White
- Tools: Big Shot Machine,1 1/4″ Circle Punch, 1 3/8″ Circle Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Blender Pen

Hi, Debbie! Does the finished card fit into a regular envelope? It looks so delightful and I'd like to try one.
Hi Chellie, yes it fits! When I create something like this, I lay the card pieces down on my SU! grid Sheet and use the measurements to make sure they will fit in our envelopes. Have fun trying this as it really is quite easy!
Beautiful card, love all details!
Thanks for visiting Mihaela!
