Have you ever had something used for your household laying around, ready for the trash and …..wait…I can use that on a card? Yup! That’s what we are doing today. Learn how to use fiberglass screening on a card. Here’s my project:

Notice in the close-up below, the black screen layer? My hubby was repairing one of our screen doors on our back deck and I noticed some scrap pieces laying on the floor. Of course my first thought was to use it on a card a made for today. I also have a video showing you how to add it in as a layer just for you!

Here’s my YouTube Video and I also listed all of the supplies at the bottom of my post. If you can’t click on the video, the link is listed below the video:

Great idea and great card…very "Maine-ish!"
Too funny Dawn, it is very Maine-ish!
Oh my gosh Debbie, we crafters think alike, I would have pounced on that left over piece of screen too, what a fabulous detail, love it!!!
And this is a stunning masculine card, so elegant in it's simplicity, no fuss, no bling, just ever so perfect. I'm pinning this one and I'm CASEing it as well.
Thank you so much for sharing and for your fabulous video. It's always great to recycle and this is one beautiful way to do it.!!!
Hugs.
