Do you belong to a card club? Do you know what a card club is? A card club is a set number of stampers that meet once a month and place orders to help each other. Take my Sassy Stampers Club for instance. We meet on the 1st Tuesday of each month in the morning and I have a total of 6 girls. The object of a club is to place orders to reach $150 as a group so each member must place an order of at least $25. Most of them place much larger orders. My club goes for six months and all six girls take turns each month being the hostess.
What is the role of the hostess? On her assigned month, she is responsible for bringing a snack for the group and since she is the hostess, all hostess rewards earned on the combined sales are hers to use. The hostess gets to pick free products earned from the sales. It’s that easy!
How do I set up my hostesses each month? Since we go for six months at a time, I add the names to a list on random.org and shuffle all of the names and assign a hostess for each month.
What do we do each month? We meet, we socialize, we snack and we create! These are the two cards that each club member created and got to take home with them:

and added Champagne Rhinestone Jewels in the centers:

For Card #2, we used the large Breathtaking Bouquet background stamp set. I showed the girls how to ink with VersaMark Ink, sprinkle with White Embossing Powder and melt with the Heat Tool:

And the birthday cake is from the Happy Birthday To You stamp set that you can earn for FREE during Sale-A-Bration with a $50 order. Great News! We now have coordinating dies that will cut the birthday cake out and more!

Will you be placing an order today? If so, please use the monthly hostess code when prompted at checkout to earn free products from me. If your order is $150 of more, no need to add the code so you can earn your own hostess rewards! Thank you so much for supporting a small business owner!

Love your cards Debbie! And I'm very interested in your club. Do you design 2 cards each month yourself? Or, do the ladies take turns designing? What about prep work? I think this is a great way to help others get free items. I would love to learn how this all works from a design and prep standpoint. Feel free to email me if you have time.
Hi Bobbi, so sorry I didn't see your comment until now. Blogger doesn't send me emails any longer when I get comments. I design both cards and all the attendees create them also. I cut up all of the layers ahead of time and set up one table for all of us. I have six people per club and require them to at least purchase $25 per month to reach $150. They all order more then that though and take turns being the hostess each month.
