WOW! This is a wow moment for me. I had visions of what I wanted to create with this stamp and the results are better than I expected! My son would be proud of me as he is into skateboarding.
I started out by fabricating my own stencil. I used the cut-out part of an oval shape-the “hole”. I carefully positioned the stencil in the center of my Whisper White background card. I used Sponge Daubers (the greatest invention!) to add Garden Green and Bashful Blue ink. I then highlighted the other side of my oval with Frost White Shimmer Paint. I used VersaMark ink to stamp my skateboarder image and added Black Embossing Powder followed by the heat gun. I sponged Basic Black ink to the outside edges of the card background.
Next I inked up the stars stamp from the Starring You stamp set and used my Large Star punch and my smaller Star Punch to get all of the star shapes. I sponged Basic Black ink around each of the stars. I positioned all the stars around the outer edge of the oval stencil and added brads to some of them for bling. I finished off the card by adding the “Way to Go” sentiment also from the Starring You stamp set. Isn’t this gorgeous?
